Mixing Mischief

Dry Martini

Dry Martini

⏱ 3 min 🥃 Serves 1 📊 Medium ★ 4 / 5

Chill your cocktail glass in the freezer beforehand.

In a mixing glass filled with plenty of ice, combine the gin (or vodka) and dry vermouth.

Stir the mixture with a long bar spoon for at least 30 seconds—

stirring rather than shaking preserves the silky texture and prevents cloudiness.

Strain into the chilled glass.

Twist a lemon peel over the top to release oils or garnish with a skewered green olive.
